Do you have students that struggle? Providing instructional scaffolds empowers students to achieve success with grade level curriculum. The expectations of today’s learning standards have raised the rigor of classroom instruction. While it is critical for educators to have high standards, it can be taxing for some struggling students to rise to this instructional level. However, we still must continuously strive to support students as they benefit from the expectations of high standards. This presentation will highlight scaffolding techniques that promote success. Teachers will be provided with information that will invigorate their literacy instruction so that they can provide for the needs of all of their students.
